If you don’t already have a handicap you will first be given an ‘initial’ handicap, this is calculated by submitting scores of 3 x 18 holes, 6 x 9 holes or a combination of both.
Once you have submitted scorecards that total 54+ holes you will receive an initial handicap index which is adjusted relative to the number of scores that have been submitted which becomes more accurate the more scores are submitted. A player’s initial handicap will become a full handicap index once 20 scores have been submitted.

Play any combination of 9 or 18 holes with another member.
Get your playing partner to mark your card.
Make sure your name is on the Card & signed by you & playing partner (Marker)
Enter a date & Tees played off.
Check it’s signed and can be easily read, then pop it into slot next to Coffee Machine in entrance at Club.
Once you have your initial HANDICAP you can then start to enter Competitions at the Club or any other Club. Your Handicap will change the more Cards you enter.

Once you have your Handicap you can track it on ClubV1 & MyEG apps.
